Cargo mission is [censored]

I'm noticing so many people in diamond and prestige levels and I'm only like a gold 49. So I'm trying to go back and do all the missions and gain XP but oh my God this cargo mission is the worst. It seems like people kill me when they have this card but this card hits line drive right to the fielders and it's driving me nuts. I won't even use this garbage card online I just want the freaking XP

Best way to get XP is showdown, that's how I've hit prestige. (The TA 2 ones, not the TA 1's lol)

how many? It seems like each showdown gives me one and a half to two levels. Have you done this 200 times? It takes like 40 minutes to do one to gain one to two levels. It's insane that everyone has done it to level up but it doesn't seem as fast as I thought it would. I hate playing offline and I miss playing events and ranked seasons just to level up and it doesn't seem that fast

Not sure how many times, but a good amount. Between that and playing a ton of events, it lvled me up a good bit.

Showdowns is definitely the way to go for XP farming. If you grind it so that you can get all the TA programs to 100%, you'll easily reach prestige and make over a million stubs. Not sure how far you are in those programs right now, but it might be worth it to dive into doing just that for a while and then reap the benefits for the rest of the year. That's what I did, ended up at somewhere around prestige level 50 and close to 2 million stubs.

Almost 500 hours of game time helps too lol
Not bashing what you choose to do with your time man. Making a point that it's difficult to get to Prestige level on a couple hundred hours played like the OP has.

I cant beat showdowns. Ive tried sooo many times so i just stopped playing them! I like showdowns but its not worth my time or frustration anymore!

I am almost done with Stage 1 of Cargo as he was my third choice but of course stuck on multi game missions. I know the dashboarding idea its just annoying

I am doing the Eddie Mathews ones and I can't even get two hits of of a lefty on all-star (he has 42 contact against lefties).

The game is just wonky. I’m doing Eddie Matthews missions right now and I know this diamond card is a beast and first game of a series mission I get 2 good/good and a perfect/perfect and go 0-4. I just need to get better I suppose.
And also like people have said showdowns definitely the way to get xp. Each “game” Of course you get some and the last 3 mini bosses and last boss gives a really good amount.

How do you get a million to 2 million stubs? There's 30 teams. Each team gives you roughly 10,000 stubs I'm just guessing. Are you talking about getting lucky pulls from the packs for the rest of the stubs?

that's the funny thing about this game. The Eddie Mathews missions were a breeze for me I don't know if it's just his swing or what but cargo seems to hit the ball solid but I swear to God they go straight to the opponent nothing drops for me
